Directory Submission FAQ
How does your submission service work?
We will submit your site to quality directories. We do not promise that all the directories will list your site but our experience has shown that a professional
looking site will receive a 60 - 70% submission approval within a couple of months. The majority of approvals will come in the first couple of weeks.
Do you guarantee that our site will be listed in all the directories you submit
to?
We can not guarantee that your site will be listed in all the directories.
You site will be submitted to all the directories on our list.
The quality of your site,
and the quality of your submission information can affect your approval rate.
How will I know what directories my site has been submitted to?
Once our submissions have been completed, we will provide you with a report that includes a list of directories, the date and exact category submitted to.
What if I have already submitted to some directories?
We will check if your site is already listed in a directory.
We will substitute that directory with another from our list.
To speed up our service you may wish to let us know what directories you have already submitted to, though this is
optional.
What information do you need?
We need your site's official and descriptive title, along with 5 other additional titles as we will use a mix of titles. We need your site's main description, and again you can provide two additional descriptions. We also need keyword phrases that describe your website. (separated by commas) . You can provide a submission email (used by some directories for email confirmation and to inform you of acceptance).
You may get junk mail at this address and may wish to setup a new email for confirmations and junk.
Will you submit our site to dmoz.org?
We no longer submit to DMOZ.
How long will it take?
It should take 3-5 days from when we begin.
Do you submit all sites?
We do not submit sites with offensive or illegal content. Sites with adult content or that promote drugs will also
not be submitted. Please make sure that your site provides unique content.
Is it possible to get penalised for gaining too many links too fast?
Most of the new links you receive will be indexed by the search engines over the next month or two. The sites we submit to vary from PR5 to PR0. With free directories, your site is often listed on many new pages that may not get crawled for weeks. Approvals occur anywhere from the the first day to 2 months later.
There is always chance that directory submissions can have negative effects but we haven't seen this in our experience. If your site is fairly new, we would suggest not doing any advertising in the weeks that follow your submissions.
What types of payments are accepted?
We accept payment by cheque of by Paypal. PayPal now allows you to make a credit card payment.
We can also accept 2Checkout payments.
How do you choose which directories to submit to?
We submit to quality free SEO friendly directories that are actively adding free submissions.
We have experience and know what factors make directories worth submitting to. We continually update our list of submission sites. We do the research so you don't have to.
